Founded in 1891 by a group of visionary volunteers, The Trustees of Reservations (The Trustees) is the nation’s premier conservation and preservation organization. The Trustees’ preserves, for public use and enjoyment, properties of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value in Massachusetts. Our properties are open to all, and we thrive by involving as many people as possible in all that we do. We aim to protect special places for future generations to enjoy in perpetuity, and have helped protect more than 50,000 acres, including 27,000+ acres on more than 120 reservations that are open to the public. The Visitor Services Associate (VSA) reports directly to the Manager of Park Operations and helps ensure that the park opens, operates, and closes safely and on time. is responsible for the overall in-park experience for High Line visitors. They ensure visitors have a safe and enjoyable time on the High Line by providing information about the park, its art programs, horticulture, and all other activities, ensuring that all park rules are correctly observed. This hands-on role requires daily outdoor work in all weather conditions and supports all departments within Operations with various tasks. A successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to detail and excellence in the workplace.
