As the Design Verification Director, you will be responsible for all Design Verification-related activities for Lightmatter optical interconnect products.

Report directly to the VP of Photonics & Silicon Engineering. You will work closely with the Architecture, Digital, Analog, and photonics teams to accelerate the development of our Passage-based Optical Interconnect products. The overall DV tasks will include a mix of Digital, Analog Mixed-Signal, and photonic verification test bench development using state-of-the-art tools.

As a Design Verification Engineer at Lightmatter, you will find yourself at the heart of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team. Your role will primarily involve close collaboration with our digital design experts, where you will utilize UVM testbench techniques to rigorously verify their designs. Your responsibilities will include working alongside photonic and analog designers, gaining a deep understanding of their innovative designs, and applying Real Number Modeling (RNM) and AMS verification methods. This team is at the forefront of technological innovation, specializing in the design, development, and production of CPUs for our data center servers. Leveraging a team of highly skilled engineers, researchers, and experts, the unit focuses on creating high-performance, energy-efficient, and reliable chips that power a wide range of electronic devices and systems.

Responsibilities

- Develop UVM based test bench

- Develop simulation methodology for automated and re-usable environments.

- Define and execute test plan towards coverage target

- Support performance verification, power-aware simulation, RTL/FW co-simulation, and GTL simulation.

- Debugging regression failures

- Improve and refine verification process
