Technician, Machinist

Machinist duties include set up and operation of a variety of machines and tools to produce precision parts. Fabricate parts and modify a variety of components related to the marine motor service industry. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Recondition and machining of engine components according to manufacturer specifications and MSHS-ISO standards. 
• Completion of measurement sheets according to ISO standards. 
• Maintaining all machine shop machinery and tooling in proper operational condition. 
• Calculate dimensions or tolerances to within -.01mm, using instruments such as micrometers, bore gages, and dial indicators. 
• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, vertical, horizontal, and universal milling machines, drill press, and surface grinder.
