System Engineer - Part Time

Aperio Global LLC is currently seeking a part-time (1099) System Engineer to join our team. As a part-time System Engineer, you will support the assessment and optimization of Fairfax County’s IT infrastructure as part of Aperio Global's consulting team. This role involves detailed analysis, system management, and making strategic suggestions to enhance system efficiency and security. This project will run for 4 months beginning in mid June, and will work on a hybrid onsite/remote location schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive reviews and management of IT systems, including VMware ESXi and vSphere environments.
• Implement, manage, and monitor updates, system backups, and server configurations.
