Summer Program Instructor

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is the leading provider of EXL programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our mission is to promote the healthy development of individuals, families, and communities through direct services, volunteerism, and partnerships. During the summer, BACR provides nine-hour days of safe and engaging opportunities to children and youth in Kinder through 8th grade. We pay close attention to the participants’ social-emotional development and provide opportunities to stimulate collaboration, relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills. Our programs in San Rafael aim to avoid summer learning loss in a camp-inspired environment by offering a well-balanced menu of activities. From cooking to coding, sports to math games, and reading to field trips, every day is filled with laughter and enjoyable learning experiences where students and staff can thrive.
