SUMMARY:

• The Substitute IA position will substitute for absentee Instructional Aides throughout GVSD
• The Substitute IA hourly rate is $20.00/hour

The Instructional Aide (IA) Duties Include:

• Provide instructional assistance and support to students and professional staff.
• Assist students in organizational skills as directed by teacher.
• Guide students in activities which are designed and assigned by the teacher.
• Supervise and assist students with all forms of technology.
• Reinforce student education plans when necessary (504, IEP, GIEP, etc.)
• Report and/or collect data for educational or behavioral reasons.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
