Steel Shop Manager

Enterprise Precast Concrete is seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Shop Foreman. This position works with the Plant Manager in managing the activities related to the steel shop, including ordering, fabricating, painting, galvanizing, and welding; communicates and collaborates with the other Production and Quality Control personnel to optimize production quality and workflow; and assists the Plant Manager in problem solving and process improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with the Plant Manager to manage the steel shop operations in a cost effective and customer focused manner.
• Tracks inventory of all steel plates, angles, inserts, and other items utilized in production of precast products and site connections, and provides this information to the Plant Manager so that materials can be ordered in a timely fashion to avoid scheduling delays or work interruptions.
