What You Will Do 

As a platform engineer at Seeq, you will play a significant role in designing and developing services to support the deployment and operation of our SaaS product. You will also help operate the infrastructure and applications that our SaaS customers rely on, including responding to alerts and troubleshooting production issues. You will work with our development squads to help them successfully own the operation of their services in production – from making setting up new observability easy to teaching good incident management practices. You will mentor and coach junior engineers, guiding them in best practices and helping them grow their skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

• 4 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms

• 2 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing and launching software products Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, and/or experience with compute technologies, storage, and/or hardware architecture

• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects • Experiences in data platform related products development or big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Clickhouse, Flink etc.)
