Custom metal fabrication shop seeks experienced Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder.

• Previous architectural stainless steel, sheet metal fabrication (including sheet metal layout, braking & welding), machine operation AND welding experience required.
• Experience beyond welding/fitting is required!
• We work with a variety of materials, so a broad skill set is necessary.
• Must be a hard worker, honest, prompt and have a high attention to detail. You will be responsible for completion of projects from start to finish in a fast paced and diverse, custom job shop.

Starting rates from $22 - $28 hourly, depending on your experience!

The Shop Fabricator is responsible for sheet metal fabrication and installation. Pay is dependent upon experience, with regular adjustments made based on your progress. At Appolo, our philosophy centers on creating opportunity, elevating people, taking care of our customers, and giving back!

Requirements

• 2+ Years of HVAC or Sheet Metal Experience
• If you do not have HVAC experience, we're also willing to take on people with 5+ years of experience in other trades!
• Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation to the shop
• Comfortable with Pre-Employment Background Check
• High School Diploma or GED

Duties:

Depending on experience, our Fabricators perform various levels of work within the aircraft float fabrication process. As you gain experience and receive training, the work you will be performing will be more complex and you will have the opportunity to advance to a Senior Fabricator.

1. Performs simple fabrication and assemblies of aircraft floats under the guidance of more experienced fabricators.
2. Forms material to match blueprint specifications or sample parts, following instructions.
3. Operates equipment and utilizes common hand tools to manufacture and assemble parts.
4. Inspects all parts for cleanliness and defects.
5. Keeps Production Supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments.
