Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Materials Lab Technician to join our team. This role will support the Additive Manufacturing Lab with the setup and operation of multiple 3D printers, execute Material Wear Testing, and perform metallurgical sample preparation, testing and characterizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with a focus on manufacturing processes and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and maintain material lab equipment including metal & plastic 3D printers, sectioning saws, mounting press, grinding/polishing equipment, hardness testers, and wear testing equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Monitor 3D printing processes to ensure part quality, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to optimize print parameters.
