Senior Oracle Database Administrator

• Provide Oracle DB, UNIX, Linux, and Oracle WebLogic support.
• Provide administrative support of Oracle standalone (11 and 12) database environments.
• Apply updates and patches to Oracle instances.
• Provide on call support for applications as requested.
• Research and analyze emerging Oracle database technologies, techniques, and protocols.
• Provide ongoing progress to leadership, system owners, and peers regarding health of the various Oracle environments.

Requirements

• Install and configure Oracle across different OS including Linux, Windows Server, and Unix,
• Basic monitoring and tuning - Assure the performance of an Oracle database. Check if the right index is being used, and rebuild indexes and tables if necessary to remove fragmentation.
