Senior Data Security Engineer

The Senior Data Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the security of our data platform. This role involves working closely with our Data Platform team to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data security, a deep understanding of backend data engineering, and experience with Databricks. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration, security and delivery. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior members of the data engineering team.

1. Be responsible for security incident and event response and aid in threat and vulnerability research, including triage, remediation and documentation.

2. Be responsible for the assessment, verification, review, and audit of security/privacy controls and overall security posture across the organization.

3. Perform forensic testing, review test results, and collaborate with business stakeholders to establish sustainable resolution plans for vulnerabilities, gaps, and control deficiencies.
