The Research Engineer position will work collaboratively with teams of: scientists (chemists, physicists, computer, etc.); engineers (mechanical, electrical, aerospace, chemical, materials, software, computer, etc.); technical leaders (both internal and external); business leaders (strategic, sales, marketing, finance, etc.); and, customers (both internal and external.) The Research Engineer will contribute to the team to advance the state-of-the-art in technical knowledge and deliver solutions that solve customer’s challenges. The Research Engineer is expected to plan, propose, manage, conduct and report on research and development activities in their field of specialization or expertise. The Research Engineer is expected to have an awareness of the state-of-the-art in their technical field and to build relationships with external technology and product leaders.
