Reading Interventionist (SY24-25)

What You’ll Do

As a Reading Interventionist at Veritas Prep, you’ll provide targeted reading interventions to students who have been identified for additional reading and literacy support.

Specifically, you’ll:

• Provide and deliver focused tier 2 and 3 reading interventions identified by the Principal to students in small group settings.
• Develop and deliver school-wide interventions through creation of lesson plans appropriate to the needs and abilities of assigned students through push-in or pull out instruction.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques and reading materials appropriate for the age and skill level of students for the purpose of improving student outcomes and achievement.
• Assist with the screening and evaluation of students.
• Collect and report out on data reading intervention progress data bi-weekly to the school leadership team.
