1Resource has some Direct Hire opportunities in Baytown, TX. We are looking for some Railcar Cleaner for a Plant in Baytown. This position requires you to Set up, operate, or tend sand blast machines for all surfaces that are to be coated. Operates the equipment to blast according to specific SSPC and NACE standards or customer specifications. Tasks: • Notify supervisors of needed repairs. • Observe operation of equipment to ensure continuity of flow, safety, and efficient operation, and to detect malfunctions. • Clean, adjust and maintain equipment, using hand tools. • Read work orders to determine production specifications and information. • Reject defective products and readjust equipment to eliminate problems. • Sand blast with an abrasive grit all surfaces that are to be coated and uses his training and instruction to inspect surfaces for visible moisture, rust, scale, or other contamination such as fingerprints, or detrimental material on workers clothes. • Examine...
