Responsibilities

Develops and assesses inspection operation sequences, methods, gages, and inspection equipment. Participate in definition reviews to ensure translation of design agency concepts into production items that are manufacturable and inspectable. Interact with design agency engineers and suppliers to assist in resolving design, development, production, and acceptance issues. Utilizes data driven decision making to manage first pass yield, through-put, and continuous improvements to metrics...

• Review shop Travelers for accuracy and completeness
• Experience in working with aerospace specifications and drawings
• Conduct In-Process, and Final inspections
• Conduct First Article Inspections using AS9102 Forms and documentation
• Conduct Receiving inspection/verification of product and relating certifications
• Review certification documents and records required to create a Certificate of Conformance
• Create end item data packets such as Certificates of Conformance, Indented Parts List and Configuration summary for internal and external inspections
• Highly skilled in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
• Complete customer Source Inspections for detail parts and assemblies
• Interface with program engineering and customers on Material Review Board issues
• Verify and control non-conforming product and the Material Review Board (MRB) process
• Use CMM, Faro Arms and other inspection tools...
