The Associate Project Developer will support Project Developers in the development of multiple wind, solar and battery storage projects in Scout’s New Projects team, which includes coverage of the entire U.S.

You will join the New Projects Development Team, reporting directly to a regional Director on the New Projects. You will work together and in parallel with other internal and external subject matter experts to progress the renewable energy projects through the project life cycle.

Your key responsibilities will include the following:

Support development activities in early and mid-stage projects, including:
Meteorological studies
Environmental studies and permitting
Electrical interconnection studies and strategy
Land control campaigns
Wind turbine and solar array configuration and performance

As a Senior Associate Project Developer at Scout, you will support the New Projects Team in the early-stage development of multiple wind, solar and battery storage projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:

Project Management

Support the assessment of projects' viability using analytical tools and market research, including leveraging an internal GIS prospecting tool.

Coordinate the development of and tracking project viability, timelines, and documentation. Present summaries to project team members and coordinate with subject matter experts to advance the project to the point of hand-off to our West and East Region Development teams.
