Production Dispatcher

POSITION SUMMARY

A Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring quality assurance and the production team meets scheduled goals. This entails a range of oversight of work including planning, scheduling, directing, and executing production activities for maximum performance of projects by performing the following duties. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Validate work jackets meet procedural requirements.
• Plans workflow in accordance with scheduled dispatch report according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Distribute production work jackets to operators and supporting departments.
• Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed.
• Maintains an up-to-date status on all responsible jobs.
