PRN Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a PRN family medicine nurse practitioner(NP) or physician assistant (PA) for a migrant farmworker clinic program in Iowa City, IA. 

Position Details:

• Travel to farmworker job sites and provide primary care services via a mobile clinic.
• Perform primary care including: conduct health histories and physicals, diagnose, determine course of action, order labs and tests, interpret results within scope of practice.
• Primarily adult patient population.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly desired.

Schedule:

• Evenings: starting between 4-5PM
• Day of week is flexible
• Typically 4 hours of clinic + charting time.
• Frequency could be once a week or once a month depending on availability.
