PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a PRN family medicine nurse practitioner(NP) or physician assistant (PA) for a migrant farmworker clinic program in or near Clearfield, IA.

Position Details:

• Travel to farmworker job sites and provide primary care services via a mobile clinic.
• Perform primary care including: conduct health histories and physicals, diagnose, determine course of action, order labs and tests, interpret results within scope of practice.
• Primarily adult patient population.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly desired.

Schedule:

• 6-10 hours/month
• Frequency once a month with potential in to increase.
• Late afternoon or evening clinic time during the week.
• Typically 6 hours of clinic + charting time.
