Plating Department (General Laborer)

Job Summary:      

Maintain the plating line for production in accordance with work instructions, policies, procedures, safe work practices, and direction from the supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Verify and document amperage settings and report problems.

·         Visually monitor lines watching for malfunctions and conditions detrimental to the plating function

·         Verify and document temperatures.

·         Maintains Hoists: Operation, Transfer Locations, Prox Switches, Light Curtains, Distance sensors, and Estops.

·         Responsible for Tank Maintenance: Rinsing down tanks, filling and topping off of tanks, and rinsing down tanks.
