Parallel Employment is currently seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Picker/Packers to join our team. The Warehouse Picker/Packer will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, as well as assisting in general warehouse duties. • Receive and process customer orders

Purpose of the Position

Picker/Packers will assist with filling orders in a manufacturing environment. They help manage inventory and package goods as part of the production staff. The Pick Packer is part of the shipping/receiving group and works in conjunction with the other members of production and outgoing QC to help pick components for made-to order systems, and pack equipment for shipment to the customer. The location of this position will be in Thorlabs’ Sterling, VA facility.

Job Summary: As a production packer you may be responsible for stacking boxes 3-4 feet high, that weigh up to 20 pounds. You will also be responsible for shrink wrapping and/or packaging up to 25 pounds. --- As a picker packer, you will be responsible for lifting 20-pound boxes and stacking them waste level high.
