Outpatient Therapist - PRN Evening

This position is Per Diem

We are searching for Therapist to provide evening therapy services and other support services for our patients. Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the Clinician will provide therapeutic group and individual services to adult, adolescent or child patients under GBHI care for emotional or substance abuse problems.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Provides therapy in a group and individual setting

· Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans in concert with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

· Demonstrates sound application of Cognitive Behavioral Theory and methodology

· Contributes effectively to discharge planning.

· Plans and prepares for activities.

· Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information

Currently Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is recruiting for a Per Diem Outpatient Adolescent Therapist for After School Program, Monday through Thursday 3pm - 8pm, no weekends .The Outpatient Therapist will report directly to the Director of Outpatient Services.

The Outpatient department affects the treatment provided to our patients in an outpatient setting. The Outpatient Therapist, will be responsible for clinical treatment for patients receiving treatment for psychiatric, and substance abuse issues.
