Nursing House Supervisor

This position supervises patient care to ensure quality nursing care is given throughout the facility.  Supervises all personnel who deliver direct patient services and coordinates patient services.  Supports the hospital and program philosophy of care to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees nursing units to ensure patient needs are met.  Responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for all patients.
• Supervises and coordinates work of licensed and unlicensed nursing personnel on all units.
• Assists with orientation, training and development, performance management, and employee relation concerns.
• Receives report from off-going supervisor and gives report to oncoming supervisor.
