Mechanic Apprentice

What you'll be doing:

Busy Truck Shop in need of a Shop Helper/Apprentice who is looking to learn about Fire Apparatus from our skilled Mechanics while helping with the following

• Running Parts
• Pick up and Drop off of Trucks
• General shop maintenance (sweeping, taking out trash, changing light bulbs, etc.)
• Assisting mechanics as needed

Requirements

In order to be successful in this position you must come with a positive attitude and ability to work independently and in a team environment while demonstrating safe work habits

Basic mechanical knowledge

Must be a hard worker and dependable

Valid CDL license a PLUS!

Hours are M-F 7:30-3:30

Starting pay $18-23/hr...
