Machine Repair Maintenance Technician

We are searching for an experienced Machine Repair/Maintenance Technician (1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm), responsible for performing duties to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, building and facilities requiring a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, fabrication and a basic knowledge of electrical repair.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install/relocate, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery/mechanical equipment used in production and related services, including fabrication of replacement components.

• Diagnose machine malfunctions and make repairs/adjustments.

• Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments (includes dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased parts).

• Perform skilled operations such as filing and aligning bearings, spindles, and shafts; adjusting feed and limit mechanisms, gibs, and ways.
