Low Voltage Cable Technician

Doota Industrial America, a global leader in the Telecommunications Infrastructure industry, is seeking a Low Voltage Cabling Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work to install and maintain low voltage cabling systems in the Samsung Construction site in Taylor, Texas. As a member of the Doota family, you will be part of an agile start-up environment with the stability of an enterprise that has been operating since 2002.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling systems according to applicable standards and codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage cabling networks.
• Work collaboratively with electrical engineers and designers to ensure accurate and timely installation of low voltage cabling systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all installation and maintenance procedures.

• Maintain the company’s high standard of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, team members, behavior, and appearance.
• Learn to install, terminate, and test low voltage cables, fiber optic cables.
• Assist in installation of communications hardware.
• Route cable through conduit, above ceilings and between floors per job specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using power tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
