About the Role

The Locksmith is responsible for performing preventative, routine and emergency maintenance on the building’s lock systems.

Position Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on gaming equipment locks as well as repair doors and frames, electronic, manual or revolving, and repairs safes
• Oversees work on gaming table locks, slot machine locks, and/or anything pertaining to lock maintenance
• Performs preventative, routine and emergency maintenance on building’s lock systems

• Maintains key control system, equipment and materials as required by the Lock Control Committee procedures
• Reports all conditions contrary to good security practice to include authorized key duplication solicitation

The locksmith maintains all door and lock hardware for campus buildings, facilities and equipment including card access, key, and pin-code systems.

This is a full time, benefits eligible, hourly position with a hiring range of $27.21-$34.02 per hour.

Core Responsibilities:

• Installs and repairs door hardware; establishes locking system for new and renovated buildings.  
• Prepares codes and supplies keys to security, faculty, staff and students; organizes key inventory and tracking system and key codes; changes locks if keys are lost or stolen.

• All necessary equipment and specific training are provided.
• This position is based at the Hanover, PA location of WFX and serves our customers in Pennsylvania & Maryland.
