Juvenile Probation Supervisor

Our juvenile probation supervisor is one of two who supervises and evaluates court officers; reviews and distributes work assignments; and ensures compliance with Court practices, evidence based practices, and department policies.

Additional duties include support of the direction, administration, and coordination of all office operations; mentoring staff; modeling evidence-based probation practices and providing skill development to probation officers; monitoring case planning, developing and reviewing case supervision plans and checklist, conducting case meetings, providing direct observation and feedback; modeling motivational interviewing; providing courtroom testimony; managing conflict via mediation and negotiation skills to facilitate resolution; contributing to short- and long-term strategic objectives of department researching, planning, and developing special projects and new programs; fostering effective communication; preparing reports, correspondence, data,...
