IT Helpdesk Assistant

New Oakland Family Centers provides comprehensive behavioral health and substance abuse services for consumers across Michigan, in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings.

Location: Southfield

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or other full-time equivalent.

Reports To: Director of Operations / IT Supervisor

Compensation: Hourly Employee; $22-$24/hour. Commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: The Information Technology Helpdesk Assistant will work closely with our Information Technology Supervisor and Information Technology Administrator. They will provide technical helpdesk support, hardware and software setup and troubleshooting to our staff. This position will be office-based and may include travel to locations where equipment may be located.

Job Description:

· Provide Help Desk Level-1 and Level-2 remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, servers other computer related devices.

· When necessary provide onsite support.

· Ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow up of all incidents.

· Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software problems.

· Triage and identify issues related to routing, switching, activity directory, DHCP and DNS.

· Document processes and procedures as required.

· Manage and maintain our customers’ networks.
