IT, Associate System Administrator

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. • Resolves technical requests from self-service tickets in support of internal and/or outside customers.
• Creates, deletes, and modifies customer accounts.
• Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.
• Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns.
• Candidate must be a team player and must have the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to multi-task and possess good communication and customer service skills.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm OR 10am to 6pm

Training will be Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm

Requirements

TS/SCI with poly required

• High School or GED and 10 years of experience.
• A Bachelor of Science may be substituted for 5 years of experience
• Microsoft Office Suite
• System Administration
