- Responsibilities:
Assist with the docketing of deadlines for the patents and trademarks held by the Firm’s clients - Assist attorneys in all states of copyright law, including applications and registrations
- Conduct statutory, case law and fact research under the supervision of a lawyer for the Firm
- Search U.S. Patent Trademark Office (USPTO) and other intellectual property databases, review dockets, and resolve data discrepancies
- Proofread prepared documents; draft and/or review legal documents (including preparing office action responses), correspondence, and other factual memoranda under the supervision of a lawyer for the Firm
- Conduct file searches and assist with document review and various other tasks related to producing electronic and hard copy documents
