House Supervisor NOC Shift

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Supervised patient care to ensure quality nursing care is given throughout the facility. Supervises all personnel who deliver direct patient services. Coordinates all patient services. Supports the hospital and program philosophy of care; to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervision of patient care services: Oversees all nursing units to ensure all patient needs are met. Responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for all patients.
• Supervises and coordinates work of licensed and unlicensed nursing personnel in all units. Assists with orientation, training and development, performance management, and employee relation issues.
• Receives report from off-going supervisor and gives report to oncoming supervisor.
