Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant with experience in fund accounting and auditing. You will be the liaison with the Fund Accounting team and and external teams including external auditors, tax consultants.

The ideal candidate will have experience as an auditor or public accounting and managing complex financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for coordination between the external Fund Administrator, external auditors, and internal teams (including Fund and Property Accounting)
• Provide hands-on project management to ensure all deadlines are met, key deliverables are accurate, and all stakeholders are aligned throughout the year-end close and financial reporting season

Our client, a leading, local wealth management firm is in search of a Fund Accountant to join their team. This organization has grown through referrals of satisfied clients that range from individuals and families to non-profit endowments, pension plans, foundations and insurance pools. The ideal candidate will have a combination of auditing with private equity experience (2 years). Additionally, the firm offers a stellar benefit package and opportunity for advancement.
