Job Summary:

The Financial Counselor will focus on assisting the Business Office Manager of Patient Financial Services with providing financial assistance to patients, working with patients to insure the hospital receives maximum payment for all services rendered, while assisting the patient with any and all avenues of financial assistance available to them.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

• Verification of eligibility and benefits (VOB) for all patients who are admitted for either inpatient or outpatient services.
