Family Engagement Coordinator

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual to become the Family Engagement Coordinator at ER Taylor. All family engagement programs take place Monday through Friday at ER Taylor. BACR's goal is to foster clear lines of communication and engagement opportunities between families and our After School Program.

The Family Engagement Coordinator (FEC) will maintain healthy relationships with partners, providers and networks, such as the San Francisco Family Support Network, SFUSD, and DCYF.

$300 Sign-On Bonus after 90 Days of Employment

All family engagement programs take place Monday through Friday at FSK. BACR's goal is to foster clear lines of communication and engagement opportunities between families and our After School Program.

The Attendance and Family Engagement Coordinator ensures that Argosy Collegiate Charter School builds and maintains strong relationships with our scholars, our families, the Fall River community, and across the educational landscape. The ideal candidate is a true “people person” and able to connect with scholars, families, staff, trustees, DESE, funders, and the public at large with agility and professionalism. A successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple communication methods; adept at giving and receiving direction; and highly effective in interactions with teachers, families, school leaders, and community partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. District:

• Supporting and articulating the district’s vision and mission to families and the greater school community;
• Develops and publishes a monthly newsletter and creating and maintains the family engagement website.
• Provides regular communication with families to apprise them of events and opportunities at the school by monthly tips, strategies, and ideas;
• Coordinates and facilitates Family Engagement sessions at the District level.
• Facilitate monthly FIAT meetings to meet District and Schools Integrated Action Plan (IAP) needs.
