Family Advocate- Denton

The Family Advocate is responsible for assisting families in becoming more self-sufficient, and will act as an advocate for the community that MRDC serves. Duties include recruitment for development sessions, instruction in sessions, and active case management during and after completion of sessions to help insure and maintain successful implementation of the family’s development plan.

• Be familiar and aware of the Early Head Start Performance Standards with emphasis on ERSEA, Family & Community Partnership and Health & Safety
• Work with Program Director, Coordinators and staff to insure the adherence of Early Head Start Performance Standards, Office of Child Care Regulations, Health Department and Local Education Agency (LEA) regulations
• To recruit children from the demographic area for centers assigned
