Estimator - Heavy Civil

Proficient in estimating mass excavation, grading, and paving, with additional expertise in wet utilities (sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water), site concrete (curb, gutter, sidewalk), and structural concrete (retaining walls and bridges). Collaborate with estimating staff throughout the bid process and handle other tasks within the estimating department as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist estimating department with earthwork bid/estimate setup including interpret drawings and specifications, safety, scheduling, contract administration, estimating, cost control, purchasing, quality control, and coordination of field employees.
• Coordinate AGTEK earthwork takeoffs, reviewing plans and specifications, and obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
