Electrical Controls Technician 
Location: Charleston, SC

The position is on a DuPont work schedule (rotating shifts, 14-15 days off per month, and 7 consecutive days off monthly).  Overtime pay is time and a half.

Our client, a leading producer of specialty flat-rolled products, seeks a team-oriented Electrical Controls Technician. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ensuring safety, quality, and productivity through continuous improvement and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on low/medium voltage motor control systems and Siemens/Rockwell drive systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment using PLC interfaces.
• Assist in installation, start-up, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Must be able to pass a skill test. Please contact our company to set up an appointment. This employee is responsible for the electrical controls of our packaging machinery. The optimal candidate will need to have at least 5 years of experience working on packaging machinery within a food manufacturing facility or comparable environment.

1. Technical Proficiency: Proven electrical control skills, particularly relating to packaging machinery.
2. Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, or a similar industrial setting.
