Director of Intake (Acute Psychiatric Care Hospital)

To direct and manage the day to day operations of the Intake and Assessment Center. Monitor, supervise, and coordinate all inquiries, assessments, and admission functions. Ensure prospective service; link recipients’ to appropriate resources or care providers; provide a smooth compassionate admission process for patients and their families.

Essential functions

*Pay Range: $85,000 to $115,000 Annual Salary

Essential functions:

• Coordinates and supervises inquiry calls from prospective patients, referral resources, and/or patient’s family members.
• Coordinates crisis consultations and assessments in house and off campus.
• Facilitates referral to outpatient services for those patients not appropriate for in patient treatment.
• Support and assists Intake Counselors/Staff as needed and appropriate.
• Ensures the legal, clinical, and financial rights of all patients admitted to the hospital.
