Deputy General Counsel

The Deputy General Counsel (Deputy GC) is the Legal team’s 2nd in command, reporting directly to the General Counsel (GC). The Deputy GC supports the GC in overseeing Legal’s day-to-day operations and has exposure to a broad range of legal topics relevant to the business. They not only provide legal advice but also serve as a trusted strategic partner for the business. With a strong grasp of the company’s priorities and objectives, the Deputy GC helps accelerate the company’s growth in a responsible, sustainable manner. The Deputy GC is a legal jack of all trades and is comfortable grappling with novel legal questions that often lack clear cut answers. Critical to success in this role is being able to manage multiple priorities, translating legal analysis into actionable advice, and focusing on how the Legal team can best serve the company’s interests.
