The role involves ensuring that both development and operational systems are secure and functional, including program of record systems and special processing nodes with IT interconnectivity. Key responsibilities include evaluating security requirements, implementing security systems, and verifying system integrity through test scripts. The SME will also ensure compliance with DoD and federal cybersecurity policies and assist in updating cybersecurity policies.
