Correctional Case Manager

Under the supervision of the deputy warden - facility services, our hire will perform duties related to inmate classification, assignment, and work-release coordination. Duties also include facilitating and monitoring re-entry of inmates into the community.

Specific duties include managing an assigned caseload; processing applications, conducting eligibility interviews, determining appropriate placement of inmates to available programs, creating work schedules; coordinating transportation; preparing court orders; performing periodic observed drug screens; providing training and referrals for job-readiness and job search skills; preparing inmates for re-entry into society; generating and updating records and reports; supporting deputy warden - facility services and working collaboratively with a total of three correctional case managers; participating in meetings; establishing rapport with community organizations; and enforcing facility rules in a firm and fair...
