Content Services Specialist

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm

The Content Services Specialist will join a team of technicians who are responsible for the interrogation of theatrically graded & ungraded DSM’s, DCDM’s, IMP’s, and associated projects, in preparation for long term preservation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed division of the Digital Cinema Department at Pixelogic.

The Content Service Specialists' primary responsibilities involve asset management from pre-qualification, content interrogation to ensure proper specifications, as well as QC of graphics outputs and assets. This role is specialized to complex projects and furthering workflow developments within operations. Other responsibilities will include involvement in testing of tools and applications, managing associated data entry related to asset work orders, working with all departments and providing regular feedback to the Project Team, Mastering, GFX, Subtitling and Content Services.

The Content Services Specialist is responsible for checking and conforming source materials in preparation for creation of outputs including, but not limited to, Digital Cinema Packages (DCP), Interoperable Master Packages (IMP), ProRes master files, and downstream deliverables. Check and conformance may include elements related to color volume, transfer characteristics, metadata, frame rate, visual spot checks, verification of texted and textless materials, shot pickups and inserts, audio retiming, pitch correction, audio finessing and XML editing. QC of outputs may be required as needed.
