Position Overview

The Washington State Legislature is a bicameral body comprised of the Senate and the House of Representatives. The Legislature meets annually on the second Monday in January in the Capitol Building in Olympia. Regular legislative sessions occur January through April in odd-numbered years.

Qualified applicants must hold credentials to be a caseworker in a Pennsylvania County. Responsible for the provision of case management services to the residents of Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, to include counseling, goal setting and tracking, maintenance of files and related activities. Serves as liaison between residents, families, and outside agencies.

1. Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.

2. Actively participates in the home life of assigned residents.

3. Facilitates periodic contact between residents and their families to promote the goal of improved family relationships, documents such contact, and communicates the results of these family contacts to other staff involved in the care of the resident.

2.    Provides supervision for caseworkers to include the expectations that caseworkers actively participate in the home life of assigned residents, that caseworkers facilitate periodic contact between residents and their families to promote the goal of improved family relationships, and that the results of these family contacts will be communicated to other staff involved in the care of the resident.
