Camp Counselor, Vacation Camp / School Break Camp

Laughter. Fun. Being a role model and making a difference. JCC Greater Boston, located in Newton, runs school break Vacation Camps for December break, February break, Passover break and spring break in April for children grades K – 8. Camp Counselors and activity specialists guide campers in sports, swimming, arts and crafts, and much more as they develop and build self-confidence and have a blast with friends. The energy of the camp is lively, playful and warm, and we are looking for fun, responsible role models to lead activities for the campers.

We serve a population of campers with special needs and are committed to fully including them in activities with their peers. Advocate Camp Counselors partner with their co-Counselors and our support staff as a team to create an inclusive group dynamic while facilitating accommodations based on ICPs (Individual Camper Plans) to fully include campers with special needs in their peer groups and activities throughout the camp...
