Job Summary
The Business Development Representative on the Foreign Exchange desk is responsible for generating and developing sales opportunities and leads that convert to new client business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
- Build and maintain the sales pipeline.
- Research and source new business leads that have exposure to FX transactions.
- Make introductory calls to the prospective company’s decision makers.
- Respond to and manage inbound sales inquiries.
- Set appointments with the senior trader and prospect (phone call or face-to-face)
- Continuously expand the network of companies for lead generation
- Ensure all sales activities, communications and opportunities are followed up and recorded in CRM.
- Develop an understanding of the FX market and world economy.
