Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services, the Assistant Director is a Certified and Registered Radiologic Technologist (CRT, ARRT), responsible for supervising daily operations of the Radiology support staff (front office and tech assistants) and imaging modalities, maintaining staffing, workflow, and performance improvement. He/she will participate in interviewing perspective employees, training and orienting new employees and when necessary participate in disciplinary actions. He/she will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating Imaging Services on a daily basis. He/she will be a team leader maximizing the skills within the group to reach a given objective.
