Assistant Fashion Designer (NYC)

BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's careers, casual sportswear, and dresses. Our products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels, principally under various trademarks and private label brand names.

The Assistant Fashion Designer will work closely with the Design Director on the development of the line.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Creative Director with the design process from initial inspiration to final production
• Communicate daily with sales and production to ensure design sheets are being completed properly and in a timely manner
• Create and execute on the vision of the Creative Director, ensuring that the product is consistent with market trends, while defining the brand identity and overall business strategy
• Developing Design sheets in Exenta (PLM System)
• Updating reorder bodies with new ideas while...
