Seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Governmental Affairs.
Responsibilities:
- Working with colleagues and clients on developing and implementing federal strategies.
- Research, analysis, and evaluation of federal matters as they may pertain to client priorities.
- Assist in the development of testimony, model legislation, position papers, and reports.
Candidates must possess strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and succinctly. Further it is important that candidates have the ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines and be detail oriented and possess good organization skills. The ideal candidate has the ability to work independently and proactively.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience with the legislative process and ideally possess a strong background in water, wastewater, and environmental issue areas.
